Piope is a personal assistant you message on WhatsApp. This policy explains what Piope reads, what it keeps, who helps run it, and how you remove your data.
Piope is operated by Mohit Rai as a proprietorship registered in India (MSME Udyam registration UDYAM-HR-03-0172893, Faridabad, Haryana). Contact: hello@piope.co.
What Piope collects
- Your messages with Piope, including the text of voice notes. Voice notes are converted to text on our own server and the audio is deleted straight after.
- What you ask it to remember: reminders, tasks, notes, preferences, and a short profile of your work and goals that you share in chat.
- Your phone number and the name on your WhatsApp profile, so Piope knows who it is talking to.
- Only if you connect Google: read-only access to Gmail, plus your Calendar and Tasks. Piope reads emails to find bills, statements, deadlines and payments, and records money transactions it finds in a ledger only you can see. You can disconnect at any time from your Google account settings.
- Only if you save them: website logins in your private vault. They are encrypted, and the AI model never sees the password; it is typed into the website only when Piope logs in for you.
- Who invited you, if you joined with an invite link.
How it is used
Only to run Piope for you: answering, reminding, tracking what you asked for, and improving how well Piope works. Piope never sells your data and does not show ads.
To improve quality, Piope reviews its own conversations automatically each night to find its mistakes. Names, phone numbers, emails, long numbers and links are removed before anything leaves your account for that purpose.
Who helps run Piope
- Anthropic (the Claude AI model) processes messages to write Piope's replies.
- Meta (WhatsApp) carries the messages between you and Piope.
- Amazon Web Services (Mumbai region) hosts Piope's server and data.
- Google, only if you connect your Google account.
- Twilio provides Piope's phone number.
Each of these processes data under its own terms. Piope shares data with them only to provide the service.
Security
Data is stored on a private server, website passwords are encrypted, and sensitive values such as passwords and one-time codes are hidden in stored chat history. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you notice anything wrong.
Your choices
- Delete your data: send Piope the message "delete my data" in WhatsApp, or email hello@piope.co. We delete your messages, notes, profile, reminders, ledger and vault, and disconnect Google, within 30 days.
- Stop using Piope: stop messaging it, or block the number. Disconnect Google from your Google account's security settings.
Children
Piope is for people aged 18 and over.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, Piope will tell you in chat before the change applies.
